About Shaina

I am 32 years old and have been living in Whatcom County for the past 6 years. I am currently a stay at home mom with two toddlers but prior to that I spent 13 long years working in accounting ;o)

Since I was a kid I have dabbled in just about everything crafty (or so it seems) but it wasn't until last year that I really found my true love and have been working almost solely in paper crafting ever since. I love creating images out of paper (probably partially due to my lack of drawing skills), mostly I create landscapes and nature images (I LOVE trees!!) but I also like making child-oriented art and celtic knotwork as well. I also tend to have way too much stuff and way too many unfinished projects - two things I am constantly trying to improve upon. Some woman's love shoes, some women like clothes...I LOVE craft supplies! )

The first time I ever checked out Craigslist (I know I am behind the times) I found Clystina's ad and thought it was a fantastic idea. I am usually a little bit shy to step out of my comfort zone but I thought the idea was so great that I decided to contact her anyway. The rest is history (Clystina summed it up in her intro). I really hope that we can all make this a group that is beneficial and fun for everyone. We are both here for the same reasons you are but, as Clystina stated, we are also both here as support to any of you. We also want this to be something that works for as many people as possible so we encourage you to forward us any questions, comments and/or feedback you may have and we'll continue to improve this forum as time goes on.
